Sea Forest Resort

When we go on vacation, we usually consider several factors; where to go, would I be alone or will I invite friends, how much will I spending, when will I travel and so on. As for me, whenever my schedule permits, budget is neat, companions are ready and when leave credit is still available, I indulge myself to a relaxing get-away. The very first consideration I take, is to where. And most of my dream trip is to where God’s natural resources reside, either in the mountain or in the sea.

Since April has given us a long holiday, I treated myself to a travel back in Dumaguete City, with my family, to visit our relatives as well. We enjoyed the cool breeze of Dumaguete City’s famous “Boulevard” and joined the locals for a “tempura and squid ball” snack beside the boulevard. We had a little tour in the city afterwards, where Quezon Park and Dumaguete Cathedral is situated. We saw plenty of goers, including tourists.

The following day, we woke up early and headed to the next town, Sibulan.

One of my uncle said we will not enjoy our destined place because it’s “pambata”. I expected less so as not to spoil my day. Indeed, Sea Forest Resort is “pambata”. Inside the resort were different kinds of birds chirping; mini sea eagle, love birds, dove and others. The birds were colorful and they were really lovely to look at. Some of them, I haven’t seen before. The resort’s amenity includes the two children swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and an adult pool with a slide, tree cottages beside the pool while others are near the beach. They also accept overnight stay booking for two or more with friends or family. They also accommodate special occasions and cater for your food in an affordable price. Entrance fee is P100/person.

I could say that Sea Forest is not really world class but because I am easy to please, I enjoyed the resort. What really is important for me is that the staff attends to the needs of there guests, they have clean water for wash up, a shower room and a comfort room, no unpleasant scent from nearby poultry or piggery, no unwanted noise since I was there for peace, the menu listed is available and ready for serving and most importantly, I can feel the wonder of nature. Moshy.

My sister said, it was expensive for a small resort like the Sea Forest but as for me, P2500 wasn’t bad for 9 people. I mean, for that amount in Cebu City, that’s good for one person only. What really matters is the quality time we spent with the people we laughed with.

Took a couple of pictures and would like to share it with you. If you’d like to visit Sea Forest Resort you may contact them at telephone no. 035-2266151 or visit their website www.seaforest.com for more details.
